Thin-walled structures are widely used in anti-collision devices for various vehicles due to their light weight and high energy absorption. Offset collision is a common scene traffic accidents. Because the commonly thin-walled do not consider this complex method, absorption effect of structure cannot meet requirements. In paper, C-shaped frame composed steel tubes proposed. The configuration studied through theoretical analysis numerical simulation, it found that can absorb stably offset collision. experiment simulation were carried out, crashworthiness was investigated verify accuracy feasibility method.
